Sample Barrow Loom Chevron

Japanese traditionally loomed cotton blend

Composition
: 44% Cotton 28% Linen 28% Ramie 

Width: 112cm

Weight: 100gsm - (Lightweight, suitable for shirts, skirts, dresses etc)

Colour: 

This is a blend of natural coloured yarn and white to create a mottled natural ecru colour. There are 3 weaves (colours) in this fabrics, Straight, herringbone, and chevron. 

Straight has the most plain weave but is a little open creating a square like texture

Herringbone has the biggest zig zag pattern about 0.4-0.5cm wide 

Chevron is the smaller herringbone and is fine but clear. approx 0.3cm wide

Woven in small runs on tradtional Japanese looms, these fabrics are crafted in a small town where the art of weaving has been passed down for generations, resulting in textiles that are unique and high quality.
