Colour: Marlon is a twill weave check made up of four yarn colours: mid-grey, light grey, espresso brown and black. The base fabric is a classic mid-grey with the brown, light grey and black crossing in a twill type pattern.

Quality information: Marlon is a compact weave cotton so it is not sheer. The fibre blend gives it an ever-so-slight rough surface, but it is otherwise smooth. The check is large. The bold black stripes are 2mm wide and repeat every 6mm, then 4cm vertically. The brown stripes are >1mm wide and repeat every 2mm, then break for 23mm both vertically and horizontally. The light grey strip is 25mm wide and repeats every 30mm horizontally. The thin black stripe that runs horizontally is 2mm wide and repeats every 25mm.
Construction: It typically feels smooth and slightly crisp rather than fully soft, with a structured, lightweight finish. This blend balances the softer and more breathable feel of the wool against the firmer, less prone to creasing characteristics of the polyester.
